Maruti Suzuki has launched the all new Generation of its hatchback Swift. This is a major model change with new looks & interiors. Also, there are major mechanical changes including a new Z-Series 1.2L 3-Cylinder petrol engine which gives a maximum power of around 80 bhp which is little lower than the previous generation swift. The maximum torque you get now is 111.7 Nm which is also slightly lower than before.
Although Power & torque has been reduced a bit but Maruti Suzuki said that now the new swift is more peppier because now the low end torque is more. Also the claimed fuel efficiency is increased & now you get 24.80 km/l* for manual transmission & 25.75 km/l* for AMT.
Exteriors
Starting from the exteriors, now the new swift gets a complete new front face with the re-designed bumper, LED Headlamps and front grille. Also, you get a pair of LED fog lamps in the lower bumper.
On the side you get 16 inches Diamond Cut alloy wheels
Coming to the Rear, again you will notice a complete new rear design having re-designed LED Tail lamps, lower boot lip along with other features like Rear Camera, Reverse parking sensors, Rear wiper, de-fogger.
Interiors
Coming to the interiors, here also the dashboard layout & design is completely new. The cabin boasts of a fresh layout with ‘centre floating design’ for the dashboard. The piano black treatment with satin matt silver inserts, along with the unique asymmetrical dials for the instrument-cluster add a sporty appeal to the interiors. and is equipped with many new features like 9-inch Smartplay Pro+ Infotainment system which comes with wireless Apple Carplay, Android Auto & ARKAMYS surround sense. The AC Module is also re-designed and the instrument cluster design is new. Now you also get a wireless mobile charger as a addition in the feature list.
